{Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies}

 

 

 

When I made these today I didn't have a recipe, so I made up my own.  After I had finished baking them I looked online and found a recipe...but this is how I made them.


Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies




1 stick of soften butter
1/2 stick of butter flavored Crisco
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of brown sugar (packed)
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup of peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 bag of chocolate chips

Cream butter, Crisco and both sugar and brown sugar together.  Add eggs one at the time and beat.  Then add vanilla.  Add flour, baking soda, salt, cornstarch and oatmeal.  Stir in chocolate chips.
Use ice cream scoop and place on baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

We liked them....hey, they have to be healthy...they have OATMEAL in them right??  At least that's how I see it.
